Our Pros

Beyond having a wealth of experiences, all of our teaching pros are PTR certified and to better understand your health and aid with your fitness on and off-court, they are all NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) certified or required to be working toward certification. They will also communicate with your personal trainer if you have chosen one from Club Coyote.

• 17 Years as a Mesa View Tennis Pro
• University of Sydney #2 Singles Player
• University of Sydney #1 Doubles Team Player
• 3 Years on the Pro Circuit in the 80's, achieving 84th in the world
• Our only pro who has a pro for himself just to stay on his game
• All our pros are required to take four hours of lesson per month from Moe. If they don't, they have to play and beat Moe to keep their job.

• Minnie is an anomaly. You may remember her father, Al Ways Wynns, from the 80's pro circuit.
• She went from High School on the East Coast to the satellite circuit and then became the coach/manager for another circuit pro who later became her husband.
• She loves working with teams, doubles strategies and has a unique way of entertaining the young ones.
• She's our Dr. Jekyll and Mrs. Hyde - sweet as can be while helping (delightfully forcing) you to improve your game.
• Minnie also serves part-time as a personal trainer at Club Coyote, usually for her tennis students, but others as well.

Personal Trainer

• Clai was born in Brazil and adopted some of the same spirit for life as his fellow countryman, Gustavo (Guga) Kuerten.
• He came to the U.S. as a teen and became one of the top players, both in singles and doubles, at the University of Arizona...his family followed and started one of the finest South American restaurants in the U.S., our own Steel Cactus Cafe, for which he is part-time chef and menu writer.
• He loves working on fundamentals in a rhythmic fashion which is a large part of anyone's game.
• In addition, Clai is more than able to compose nutritious daily diets for his student and amping up some match day meals as well.
